As Covid-19 devastates tourism worldwide, Kenyan livelihoods are affected too.

 

To help, Flipflopi and Kwale Plastics Plus Collectors created the 

Trash for Cash Initiative to lessen hardships being caused by this Pandemic, AND protect our environment.

 

Trash for Cash brings income to some of those most affected while removing trash made reachable as people stay away from once busy markets, roadsides, rivers, beaches and other public spaces

 

Young people will collect trash that will be re-purposed and recycled —AND earn cash for their families!

 

Let’s start now, before the annual rains wash more trash into the ocean!
